Set or change your code

Set your first code before wall mounting. For an original Pro already fitted to the wall, the existing operating sheet says to remove it before changing the code. Follow the fitting instructions supplied with your exact model.

  1. Display the current code and turn the opening knob clockwise to open the door. On first use, use the factory code 0000 for either model.
  2. With the correct code still displayed, move the internal reset lever from A to B.
  3. Set your new four-digit code. Look straight at the dials and align every number with the reference line.
  4. Make a note of the displayed numbers, then move the lever back from B to A.
  5. With the door still open, scramble the dials and set your new code again to check it before closing the safe.
  6. Keep the new code displayed, close the door, turn the knob to engage the locking bar, then scramble the dials.

The correct code must be displayed before the reset lever can move. Do not force it.

Close and lock your safe

Keep the correct code displayed while closing the door and turning the knob to engage the locking bar. Scramble the dials only after the door is closed and locked.

Turning the wheels to different numbers hides your access code. It does not change the code stored in the lock.

For forgotten-code recovery, an emergency key that will not work, or a stuck reset lever, use our Pro and Pro Mk2 troubleshooting FAQs.

Original Pro operating sheet:

The operating sheet below is for the original Pro. This operating sheet is not a Pro Mk2 mounting guide. There is not yet a dedicated Mk2 instruction sheet. Before drilling, check the fixing points against your Mk2. If the diagram does not match, contact support through the Help Centre with photos of your safe and fittings, with the code hidden.
